This series began in response to the changing weather, specifically here in the UK. However, as I set to creating the very first piece, Foreseen, my focus broadened and it became apparent that it wasn't only the weather that I was responding to. As the series progressed, at the point where I was painting the third piece, Ozone, I became concerned that the work may become too 'dark'. My natural state is one of optimism so I simply had to rely upon that to ensure that there remained a sense of hope.
